My responsibilities included: Maintain Art Director's vision, block out mesh and initial art pass, training and providing feedback to external partners, polishing props and levels, and level optimization.
I created the exterior and basement l block out mesh, and the initial art pass for this part of the level. Working with Scott Russell, Studio External Art Director, we developed design solutions for this level, and provided directions and feedback to our partner team at Virtuos Shanghai. They did an excellent work creating the concept for the melted door and taking the whole level to a final stage. While Scott and I fine-tuned the set dressing, he took on the bulk of the work, especially refining the bioluminescent spores, which was worthwhile as it added a unique touch to the level.
