My responsibilities included: Maintain Art Director's vision, training and providing feedback to external partners, polishing props and levels, set dressing, and level optimization.
I worked with Scott Russell, the Studio External Art Director, to provide directions and feedback to our partners. Pixel Mafia did an excellent job in the interior, creating the concepts and bringing this level from its initial BSP stage to its final version, using modular pieces and creating the necessary parts, such as the large excavating machine. My main goal is to ensure the work aligns with the Art Director's vision and meets expectations and our team's high visual standards. Scott and I polished and set dressed the interior, and I also took on more hands-on tasks, like creating the elevator part (including its animation) and adding and animating cables and fans, among other things.
The exterior was made by our partners at Virtuos Shanghai, who did a great job creating the concept art and taking the exterior to the final stage.
